What's the "average" mileage out of the standard Bridgestones which come with the Impreza assuming "average" driving style ?
Just over 13k miles so would like to know whether to start saving now or not !
cheers

I've just replaced my Re010s, they had 4 mm of tread left having covered 10K, they start at 8mm. I can not believe how much better the car grips and handles having changed them. I wouldn't wait at all personally I wish I had ditched them from new they are so bad.

Was down to 4mm left after 2,500 miles (1,500 really as the first 1000 were running the car in). Cash flow means only town driving at moment, however have never seen more than 7k from any set of tyres, so would be well happy with 13k.
Would recommend replacing them before the weather gets worse, better to spend a few hundred on tyres thana few thousand on car repairs.
