Hi all, this is my first so be gentle with me.

I picked up my RB5 on the weekend and although the car is a complete blinder I'm a bit pissed off. In the excitment of the collection event, I failed to notice the scratches on the wheels where it had obviously been scraped along a kerb.

Is there anyway I can get these marks covered up or do I have to go back to the dealer.

Cheers, Mike

I doubt if the dealer will accept responsibility for any damage or repair it free.
I had my alloys refurbished a while ago by a company in Hayes. Superb job.
I know its a bit of a trot from Herts but if you can't find anywhere else I'll try to find their number for you.

If you could give me their number it would be great. I don't mind the trek, remember I've just collected an RB5 so I'm sure I can have some fun on the way.

Not much help seeing as where you live an all, but there is also a company in Kent called spit&polish. They can be contacted via Jet Wheel and Tyre in Benfleet, Essex. Will cost you about £40 per wheel. They will take out kerb dents, scratches, put the wheel back into alignment (depending how bad!) and you may even have them what colour you like, silver, gold, anthracite etc. Takes about 7 days.
Jet wheel and Tyre, tel:01268-792272.
Hope this helps...they did a superb job on my SuperT EVO's from Gold 2 anthracite.
More money than sense, JACKO!

Cheers Jacko I'll give them a call. I'm not too bothered at the moment, the scaratches are only minor and I'm having too much fun to really worry about it. I would like a dry day though because since I've picked the car up all it's done is rain....
