Magnesium Alloy Wheels
#1
I read somewhere (probably here) that the 17" P1 wheels are made of a magnesium alloy and are supposed to be better than regular alloys.
Is that the case? Better in what ways? And would an anthracite wheel look ok on a royal silver car.
Any ideas?

IMO Anthracite looks alot better on a Silver car than on a blue one! (Biased maybe due to my Gold wheeled blue car )
The wheels should be lighter due to materials used, whilst retaining strength.

If they are Mag alloy then there is a lot less weight.
There was a link recently that gave a great explaination on the performance loss of larger wheels due to inertial force or something.
Basically the lighter they are the better.
As for colour, that is purely a personal choice.
I've got Mag Alloy 16's on mine.
