Hi all.
I've just fitted Brembo group A's and I noticed that the bell that holds the disc on is thicker than thre original disc, and so the wheel nuts are not on as many threads as they were, does anyone know where I can get hold of some slightly longer studs?

Jim at Cheam Motors can get you some but they aint cheap!

He is on 020-8394-2263

You should still have enough thread if you use decent bolts like the sleeved Speedline/Mim appproved ones from Scoobysport. What wheels are you using?

If the treads are 12mm diameter, then they need only be on 12mm.
You'll only need a square (ie 10mm bolt, 10mm screwed on) on a bolt. Any more is just wasted.
Square is max strengh anyway..

Ron,

I spoke to Pete regarding this on Sunday. He can get the studs from Prodrive at about £9 each (x10, ouch!) He also said you could take 2-3mm off the bell if you know a friendly machine shop, which would help. I have used some very naff wheel nuts which came with a set of TSW wheels as the thread goes right to the end of the nut.

Why not try a browse through the "Deemon Tweeks"(sp?) catalogue. I'm sure I saw a huge range of studs from about £4 each.
