Question

I am about to change disks, pads, hoses and fluid to generally improve the brakes on my MY99. What should I expect to pay for this sort of thing.

Wink

Just ordered the parts for my MY99...From REVOLUTION in Gateshead. 0191 477 0785.

Black Diamond Discs front and back (grooved and x-drilled!), Mintex 1155 pads front and rear. Not bothering currently with hoses or fluid...

£456 inc. VAT, with free delivery.

A friend of mine with a scoob is going to check out mine when they're fitted with a view to upgrading. I'd like the AP 4pots, but can't justify £1500 when I don't do trackdays.

Thanks for the reply. I should have been more specific I was wandering what the cost for fitting is. I have gone for Bremsport grooved/mintex 1155 combination and have yet to buy the hoses and fluid but will get it all done at the same time.

I paid £202 for new 1155 pads, braided hoses, DOT 5.1 fluid and fitting, uncluding VAT. Labour charges also included cleaning the front and rear calipers as well.

New front discs would have been about an extra £100 - £150 on top of this price, with no extra charge for labour.
