Default Fitting 17" Prodrive/Oz 10 Spoke Alloys...Advice Needed pls.!

I am having a problem trying to fit these 17" Prodrive 10 spoke alloys to my MY00 Classic Impreza.

Basically, when tightening up the wheel studs, they appear to receed into the wheel, and 'pick up' on the alloy. They just don't look as if they fit right to me!

The wheels were supplied with a piece of paper advising to "...Use only original Subaru lugware ...Part No. 623006021..."

I checked with the local dealer, who showed me the nuts with this part number, and they are exactly the same as the ones that are currently on the car!

I am somewhat confused....
...Has anyone else experienced this?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

I have MY99 OE Nuts & P1 Oz Alloys

I don't have a problem and when I recently went & purchased some new ones, mentioned that I had the P1s and was told OE as I already had was as specified.

They will "pick-up" or locate on the alloy as that is how they hold it all on - 85 ft/lb torque

Thanks Puff

It'll be out with the torque wrench tomorrow then!
