MY99 Rear brake upgrade?
#3
I have Tarox Sport Japan discs and Tarox pads in my standard STI vented setup... these improved the rear braking nicely without throwing the overall balance out of the window. The car now "sinks" a bit more rather than simply "diving".
Seem to remember that the kit came in at a bit under £200.

Thanks for the replies I really have an open mind on the rear brake upgrade, plus a lack of knowledge. I do not do track days as such, odd exception. But I do confess to driving hard enough on the road to suffer fade. Although my car is an almost standard MY99 I still feel I would like to stop more rapidly. The car is having its front discs replaced next week under warranty so I will change from OEM pads to an aftermarket brand; I will do a search for some ideas. What did you have in mind Mike?
