Mobile tyre fitters serving SW London?
#1
Hi All,
Does anyone know of a mobile tyre fitting service that can take jobs in the SW London area?.
I obviously was having too much fun a MIRA on Saturday because I've vapourised my remaining tread on my original RE010s!.
Mind you I travelled quite a few miles at 70-80 degrees to the direction of travel either, so I can't complain.
My car is a MY98 with standard 16" wheels - what is the consensus regarding the best tyre in 205/50R16 size?
Shortlisted candidates are:
Toyo Proxes T1S
Goodyear Eagle F1
Bridgestone S-02PP
Pirelli P-Zero
Thanks,
Alex

You can try Paul Stewart: 0181 715 9745 or Mobile 0850 468568
He operates from the Wimbledon/Worcester Park Area. Comes highly recommended. Never actually used him for new tyres, but you can give him your quotes and see what he says.
Alternatively SPARKS in Wimbledon have some of the most impressive prices you'll find.
If you use any of the above it would be good to hear your opinion.

Thanks for the info Alan,
I will be using Southfield tyre and battery services, who quoted £117 pounds fitted for a 205/50R16 Bridgestone S02PP.
This was around £10 per tyre better than Sparks could manage.
Paul Stewart didn't return my calls, so I'll have to faff around changing the rear wheel onto the front, and putting the space saver on myself .
Thanks anyway!
