Question Brake Pedal Travel

Hi All,

I have an MY00 with Scoobysport 6pots - approx 1 year old.

Generally i dont have to press very hard on the brake pedal and it feels solid, however, it is getting more common that the brake pedal seems "soft" and i have to press alot further down / travel for the brakes to work?

If i lift off the brakes and press again (pumping?) then the normal solid feel comes straight back.

I cannot identify any specific scenarios when this happens - it appears random.

Is this a problem?

Regards
Scotty

Default

Sounds as if the brake fluis is braking down with age / use.
Bleed the brakes until new fluid comes through and see if things improve.
