superleggeras 8x17 for MY03 WRX?

Want to change my original alloys for something sweet. was looking at the graphite superleggeras but the dealer in my country can only source 8 inch rims.
Anyone with experience or similar setup please post your advice.

Will these fit properly? will a 225 tyre be ok or do I need to go for 235s?

p.s. cannot go for more than 17" or for a tyre lower than 45 as roads are crap

225 tires are ok in 7,5-9" rims so there is no problem with the wheels you want, I am going to fit 225/40/18 in 18x8" SuperL" Golds.

I was in an STI8 with 18x8 Speedlines with 245 tyres and they were rubbing at the rear. And that is precisely why I am asking. Dont wanna have any clearance problems.

As to the wheel width I have seen many 225 tyres on 7" rims. Where do you source the info that 225 fits from 7.5" to 9"?
