A little bit of advice please.
Basically at my last service a nail was found in my left rear tyre, which is a bit of a pain in the butt as the tread on it is in very good shape still. It cant be repaired at the nail is too close to the tyre wall, which is even more of a pain.
The tyre in question is a Bridgestone Potenza 215/45/17 (not entirely sure if there is a model number with that) but its the standard fit tyre on a new Impreza as far as i know.
So im seeking a little advise as to what i should replace it with, should i go like for like? ive heard that Eagle F1's are very good, but woul dthat put any balance out? Also Toyos have been mentioned.
Also, does anyone know of a place that would do a decent price for one?
Any help is appreciated.
Neil.

Assuming you are swapping just one tyre, you need to stay with the same type - or the handling will be interesting! Try a wanted ad on here and see if somebody has a part worn one?
If you can wait you might be able to get the tyre sent away to be repaired (vulcansied) - takes a few days and will be £20 ish
As regards replacements, I run with Toyos which have mixed reports on here - I find 'em fine - cheap as well
Cheers,
Ian.
