what's difference between Goodyear F1 GSD2 and GSD3?

The 3 is the latest and has a different tread pattern I believe.
You can find out about the improvements from the goodyear web site.
It may be worth noting that I have gone through several sets of the GSD3s, driving like a nutter. They have soft side walls and seem to go bald at the edges far quicker than elsewhere. They are great in the wet and dry, but Toyo proxy's are cheaper (do a search), have lasted far longer (evenly worn) and performed better in both the wet and dry. Not quite an answer to your question though...

I have the GSD2's, Had toyos before. I have to say that I noticed a massive difference, some people tend not to notice anything. I was very impressed, the car felt so different. well worth the cash.
As said before, the tread pattern is different, GSD3's are possibly better in the wet, looks like it could disperse water better. The wear in mine is quite even all round, and it gets a good pasting around corners too.
