Mods Wrong forum i know, Need to order these alloys in the Morning, Really need a quick reply

Been offered a really good deal on Some BK Racing 238's in Gold for My 01 Bug eye WRX

Any advice on the tyre sizes really getting a few conflicting sizes

The wheel size is 7.5x 18''

What do i need 215/35 18's?

or can i go 225/40 18's ?

Do not want to affect the speedo reading, Or mess up the Handling if possible

Any information will really help

Tiny,
The wrong choice could turn out to be very costly..............
Personally i think the safest, and ohh , smartest move, will be to order the .........................................T25.

225/40 are for bugeyes and 215/35 are for classic, classics need smaller tyre size to stop them catching.

Cheers Guy's Thanx for all the Replies.

Ordered today 7.5x18''BK Racing 238's With 225/40/Toyo Proxes T1s's, All 4 Delivered, Tyres Fitted, Balanced, All wheel nuts ( +Locking) To bolt straight on to My Scooby ( As soon as the Sun Comes out)

All for under £900

Robroy
Oh yes does seem a waste of money New wheels and all that, What with the prospect of the T25,
But do not want to come home with me Clothes in Bin liner's on the Drive!!
Oh well, Just have to stick with what i have got & Wait for the T26,27,28,29................!!

Just one other thing regarding these 18'' Wheels what do you Guy's keep as a spare?
Is it worth me getting another one and taking all the room up in the boot?
Is it still possible for me to still use the OE Spare? Surely this will not match now Though

The overall size has not changed Tiny

you now have thiner tyres and bigger wheels

So your spare will still be fine

17'' Wheel with 215/45 Now to 18'' Wheel with 225/40

Wheel is say 25mm Bigger, Tyre is 5mm Smaller, Still approx 20mm Difference

Or am i Missing Something
