Question

Just bought a set of alloys which need refurbishing due to scrapes on spokes (no corrosion/ rim damage), does anyone know of a good place to get them done in west/ south yorkshire?

i had a set of BBS wheels done in Barnsley (cant remember the company) a few years ago and the finish was perfect - for about 1 month before it peeled off, so i want at least 1 years warranty

Cheers

I haven't, but I was recommended them by Hugh138 & demonic. Hugh reckons, "they're as good as it gets". You could also try

Question

are MSS expensive? is the finish as good as factory?

i want to get my TT 6 spokes done in the next week or so and if the finish is A1 then i'll get my RS4s done as well.
Does refurbing last as long as factory finishing?

Cheers

IIRC about £35 per wheel. I can say that finish was excellent. They shotblast the wheels first. There is a choice of colours including several shades of silver. It is a sameday drive-in service.

All done and dry within the day. They used to take the wheels to Kwik-Fit to have tyres removed/fitted/balanced.

I was quoted £188 for 4 wheels (17") including remove and re-fit tyres. Too steep for me to justify it.
