Question

Got a dilema, I have around £300 to get my brakes uprated, I assume I have 2 pots as its a late 94 JDM WRX.

Brembo do a sports kit for £229.95 giving decent discs and pads, which for my use might suffice.

Its either that or Camskill drilled and grooved discs with EBC greens back and front for around the same (I have to pay for fitting)..

Any ideas - what has worked well ?

Look for a 2nd hand set of 4 pots.Standard 4 pots will be better than anything you do with 2 pots.
I have a 96wrx which i drove for about 6 months on 2 pots before i found some 4 pots of a P1.I have now upgraded the discs and pads to pagid. You should be able to pick up a set of 4 pot calipers, discs and pads for around £350.Do it, you wont regret it.

You do need 16's though, which you don't say if you have or not, that could wipe out the budget if you haven't!!

Yes you do need 16" wheels for the calipers to fit.
Look in for sale someone selling 4pots from 99uk turbo with discs and pads £300.Get in there.

If you're able, and you have a mate with the four pots, it'd be worth trying one of your wheels on just to check, not all aftermarket wheels do fit!!

All the cars new shape or old with the 'subaru' four pots are the same! so if the wheel fits your mates new shape, assuming WRX and not STI (brembo) then you'll be ok!
