Toyo's / Falcons??
#1
I need some advice as to tyre choice?
I currently have Toyo Proxy’s on the rear (good condition) and new Falcons FK451s on the front. (Not my choice already on the car)
Should I
1. Leave as is?
2. Have a set of Toyos
3. Have a set of Falcons
4. Just go and buy a set of F1s and keep others for track days?

Change to Toyo's.
I had a set of Falkens until about a month ago then changed to Toyo's could not believe the difference, no tram lining, superior grip, less road noise etc etc Transformed the handling on my car.

I totally disagree the Toyo's are terrible, leave them on the back until they are dead and replace them with the Falkens.
My car has had both complete sets on and the Falkens are much better than the Toyo's which in damp conditions are dangerous and wear far to easily.
My new choice would be the NEW Avon ZZ3's which i've got on now and they are the best tyre i've tried on my car.(225/45/18)

I have Toyo T1S's Proxies on the fronot of the Hopnda and will replace the rears with them once they wear out, had them on the Puma as well. They are a great tyre fantastic levels of grip on the wet and dry
Had two sets of F1's (GS D2's) on a Scoob and loved them. The F1's had the edge over Toyos in the wet.
Never had Falkens so cannot compare but i like the Toyos and would go for them.

Another vote for the Falken FK-451's, but it's down to personal preference and driving style. I find the Toyo's very progressive, but just too innacurate during weight transfer events (too much sidewall flex?) - the Falkens are very accurate but let go very quickly.
Neither brand should be taken on track unless already illegal on the road, they both wear too quickly.
I'd suggest your biggest improvement will come from having the same tyres front and rear
Richard (currently running different winter tyres on each axle....again!)
