Just changed my OEM pads on STI7 afyter 13,500 miles for a set of DS2500.
How many miles can I expect these to last under 'normal' road use?

if you only managed 13K on std pads then you could probs expect 10K or less with ds2500..........higher friction and so tend to wear quicker.......

I got 50,000 out of my oem pads.

Uprated discs all round to DBA Golds, DS2500 pads, braided hoses and dot 5.1, no danger of fade now.

Although the DS2500's are squealing like buggery.

I only bought the car 1,500 miles ago so the heavy braking was due to the previous owner (bit worrying now I come to think of it ).
I think my driving style is slightly better, with my last set of pads (on a 3-series) lasting 55k.
