Front Brake Pads
#1
I've got a (pretty much) standard MY98 Wagon Sport.
The front pads are looking like they need changing soon.
Anyone have any recomendations?
(The're for normal driving use)

I went for EBC Reds, they're ok, but everyone here seems to rate the Ferrodo DS2500 and to be honest this is what I'm gonna go for next time around.
Just a note on the EBC Reds, they're better than the standard Subaru pad, they don't seem to fade at all when they get hot, in fact they seem to get better, 2 weeks worth of brake dust equates to a couple of days worth of the standard pad. But they sorta lack the initial bite that I'd like.
I cant really comment on the Ferrodo's cos I've never had em, but reading what's bin said in the past, I reckon that's wot you should go for.
Expect to pay about 120 notes for either.

I've used Ferrodo pads for years and they are extremely good value IMHO.
I'm fitting ds2000s today as unless you are doing a lot of track days then the ds2500s are worth the extra ££.
