Question

hello will a set of 17's of a o2 wrx fit straight onto a uk my96?

also pressume if they fit they will clear my 4 pots (of a p1)?

Yes they will!!!

But the tyres that come on the new shape cars are 215/45 17, the ideal size for the classic is 215/40 17, but they should fit ok, maybe change the tyres when they're worn out, and yes they will clear the calipers!!

Yes, they will, have 03 wheels on my 00MY turbo, tyres should be 205/45 or 215/40 to be optimum rolling radius, if they are 215/45 they will make the speedo reading slightly out

cheers gents-who much out would the speedo be out? and under or over reading?

the speedo would under read, prob not by much, less than 10% I would guess
