Not a happy chappy today...
Cleaning my Speedlines today on my STi8 I've noticed what look like burnt areas where brake pad debris has hit the alloy and literally bonded with it...

Seems it might be down the compound in the standard pads - I don't think its a problem with wheels as such, as they are created in exactly the same way as the PFF7s (and by the same manufacturer).

Anyone else had this issue?

Cheers, Alex

Thumbs up

Mark,

Cheers, my current plan of action is to:

- change to DS2500 pads and check wheels weekly for further damage (only after logging the issue with my dealer)

- try to clean the wheels with something a little more abrasive, to make sure what I'm seeing is damage not dirt.

Cheers, Alex
