Should fit no proble, so long as you get the calipers, discs and pads, you'll be fine, I even think the hoses are the same!

Don't forget to change the 'dust plates' as well.... The old ones can stay on but better to change them or....take 'm away completely (even better cooling...)

Question

Cheers bart, i hear that the discs are bigger on the '99/late'98 ,is this overcome in the caliper design/offset so that they will still fit the original hub /caliper mounting system, yes?

Matty,
they literally fit straight on, the caliper you'll be removing is a totally different design than the four pots, the hubs are the same for all the classics, wel, there might be slight differences, but so far as the brakes go, they're the same!
The 'old' discs are 277mm, the 'new' ones are 294mm, but they have the four pot caliper, which is where most of the gain comes from.

Have done this myself on a '98 and they did fit 'straight on'. Removed the dust shield as it looked daft (being smaller than the disc)
