£81 for either set, which ones should i go for?? I'm not spending anymore than that (would maybe stretch to £96 for some red stuff V3's if it was really worth it) as i don't do track days as can't justify £135 of DS2500.

I've had both, and I wouldn't touch the EBC's again. However, I believe they have a new compound since I tried them, and perhaps people who undertook the recent test might be able to provide you with their thoughts.

I've moved on from the 1144's to the 1155's which I find a much better pad.

aren't the 1155's no good when cold. Just worried about when the missus drives it!!

They're not that bad from cold. Plus, it doesn't take too long to get them up to speed.

Your missus won't have any problems with them.
