I am undecided which wheels to go for on the STI 8 in WR Blue Mica.

My choices would be,

19" OZ Superleggeras in Gold ? (had 18's on my classic and loved them)

18" OZ Superleggeras in Silver or Anthracite?

18" Speedline Turinis in Gold ?(only problem is that the missus has these on her Clio Cup as standard, so she'd say I copied her! lol)

18" Prodrive FF7 in Gold ?

Any opinions would be much appreciated.

Pics of yours if you have any of the above would help too!

I'm in a similar position. I think the 18" OZ Superleggeras in Anthracite would look saweeeeeet! but nice silver one's would also look cool!

Personally I wouldn't go for the 19" though...

v. nice sammy, any bigger/beter pics?

They almost look like a shade between silver and anthracite.

The Turini's clear anything (loads of room under there - I've got my 6-pots under them & 352mm discs), they don't look as big as other 18's though, largely due to the large inner part and shorter spokes!

I don't think the SuperL's clear the callipers either, as they wouldn't on my Evo, so had to go for the 19's instead (which look very nice indeed Sammy, btw). Make sure you check it out before considering the 18's.

Hmmmmmmmmm.

I just sold my 18" Superleggeras that were on my classic cos I was told they wouldn't go on my STI 8 as they wouldn't clear the calipers, but I asssumed that this was down to the offset being different between the 2 cars???

So if I want Super L's, is it gonna have to be 19's then?

Or can any STI 7/8 owner with 18" Super L's prove us wrong?

Forgot to say the offset is very nearly the same but its the spoke design on most wheels that stop them from fitting the STI.

Cheers for the pics and the advice Sam, mich appreciated.

Its also helped me make my mind up somewhat.....

As nice as the Silver Super L's are, I think they take away the "STI-ness" from it, and it looks kinda WRX-ish. I think the STI needs Gold wheels, especially in WR Blue.

All IMHO of course.

So,

OZ Superleggera 19's??

or Prodrive FF7 18's??

or OZ WRC 18's??

all in Gold of course!

I'll take a pic whith the wheels being clean, it looks a lot better, the gold looks ok though

John remember the offset you need is et48 if you go lower or higher the wheels may rub the arches or catch the caliper.
