Are the brakes on MY93 WRX larger (discs) at the front and if so is it possible / advisable to swap them to the rear when fitting my Brembo 4 pots / vented discs (group buy)???

You can't simply swap front discs/calipers to back. Several issues to be solved if you tried, not least the fact that the rear discs are actually combined drum/discs - with the drum being used by the handbrake.

Several people have suggested this, and I've only seen two cars with different calipers on the back, and they spentt all their life on-track, for raod use, just upgrade the pads, that'll be good enough, changing the calipers is serious grief!

You can be "over-braked" & thats what would happen if you did that - just unnecessary.

I have Brembo/APs at the front & use OE pads rear.

I have yet to not have sufficiet brakes with this setup to not outbrake most people on track
