you are better to swap them in two's as you then have even grip on the same axle when cornering.

generally also if you have a FRONT wheel drive car put the best tyres on the BACK

rear wheel drive on the FRONT

4 wheel drive which ever suits your driving style

New tyres on front = back end going first

New tyre on rear = front end goind first

your choice pairs are best though

See if it's repairable first. If not, then change a pair, unless there's very little difference in tread depth.

Thumbs up

Not a true expert , but I always thought you should not mix manufactures on the same axle .so long as it's the same tyre should be ok ......now for the experts to have a say

Thanks for the reply mate,

I have a pretty much new tyre on the offside rear, and the new tyre will be going on the near side rear, if the 'old' so to say tyre is pretty new will this in theary be ok..

You could always even the wear up by sticking the old one on the offside front and the new one on the nearside front.
Nearside fronts on Scoobs are the fastest wearing due to the weight of the engine and roundabouts.

Not just about the same make - I think even with the same tyres on each side of an axle, tread depth affects traction, so ideally you'd have very similar tread depth on each side of the car.
