Will 215/45/17's rub?

Nope should be ok... only 225's will rub at the rear but ths ain't 100% guaranteed advice. Just what I remember to be the case

They'll be fine, honest...
I had MY01 alloys and 215/45x17 off a friend onto my classic and the only possible problem was going to be if they rubbed on the rear struts.
They didn't. (hairs breadth, though!)
AND...I've got the prodrive handling pack (lowered Eibach/Bilstein setup)!
When those tyres wore down, I replaced them with 215/40x17 which also helped with a bit of tramlining I'd experienced.
