Rear pads mated to OEM fronts

Ive got OEM front pads and need to replace the rears, should I uprate the rears now and then uprate the fronts when they are due, or should I keep to OEM rears and wait til I uprate the fronts.....?
decisions decisions, whats your advice please

what are you planning to do to the fronts, and what use for the car?? if its simply fast road then you could either stay with O.E. type parts or opt for something like the Pagid "fast road" range which will be no probs until you upgrade.......
