Question

Anyone got this setup? Did it fit ok, with no tweaking?

Mine are 18" wheels but worried about the caliper brushing the wheel.

I'm not sure how deep the spokes go on these wheels, however you should have no probs with the caliper missing the wheel itself. I have this kit with 17 inch wheels with no problems at all. Remember when fitting them to take off the backplate dust sheald as it may rub on the disk. You may want to call the supplier as they have a pretty good knowledge of wheels, so should be able to put you straight.

Cheers for the replies - have you guys fitted these to classics or new-age? Mines an MY01.

Not sure if this would make any difference. I've emailed the supplier but no reply so far.

I cannot see any problem with fitting Brembo Big Brake Kit and Superleggeras. They fit over AP 6 pots, so they will be OK.

Most of the kits have gone on Classics, but will fit Bug Eyes.

Depends which Brembo kit you are talking about. If it's the OEM STi (Gold) Brembo's from the STi 7/8/9 then you will need 19" OZ Super Leggeras to clear the caliper.

If its any other type of "Brembo" kit, speak to the kit supplier, they ought to know?
We have removed numerous gold Brembo kits and installed our (noticeably better) AP Racing kits instead.

I bought the 320mm brembo kit from the group buy.
My wheels are 17 oz superleggs and my car is a classic.
Fitted no problem

No experience of your current kit, and also I am not a heavy braker but I had to slam them on really hard at around 100 a week ago on the M25, I was amazed at how quick they slowed me down, and under control, thought the Golf behind me (which was all over the raod) was going to mate with my Scooby.
