I have a STi 5 with the Prodrive 330mm calpiers, godspeed 2 piece 330mm discs and DS2500 pads, goodridge hoses.

After the last 2 track days a clicking noise has occured from the front of the car (presummed to be the brakes) only when full lock is applied. No noise at all straight or turning slightly. The noise sounds slightly metalic but could also sound like a stone in the tyre. I have checked it out, nothing hanging off, no signs of rubbing, etc.

Any ideas on this one would be appreciated.

Cheers

Expensive unfortunately - outer cv joint, one or both depending on side noise coming from (one or both).

Za,

What wheels do you have?

I changes to godspeed discs recently but also changed to 17 inch BK121 wheels.

I had clicking like you only at full lock, gradually geting worse over time. I suspected the brakes disasembled everything and re-fitted and the noise went away for a while. But a few weeks later it came back and again got worse.

I started noticing it on the back wheels as well to a lesser exted and then realised it was not the brakes.

Anyway - to cut a long story short it was the captive allen key type wheel nuts clicking somehow against the wheel.

I refitted all wheelnuts with copper grease around the wheel/nut interface (except threads) and hey presto the noise is gone.

Its a longshot but may be what your experiencing.
