Fitted a GodSpeed kit to my 93 WRX around the turn of the year and have gone rapidly through a set of pads.

I havent been exactly bowled over by these brakes, they are certainly an improvement over my original 2-pots, but still seem prone to fade and do require a very firm push on the pedal.

Anyone tried a racier pad than the 1144 with these, and if so how did they find them in terms of fade and disc wear?

Cheers

Andy

you can have various reasons for "fade" what problems are you experiencing?? as for pads the 1144 is a fairly low friction pad compared to most others around (particuarly if you compare it to more modern designs from Pagid and Ferodo)
