Looking for 4 new tryes for my MY00 and have been given a competitive price for a set of 4 ZZ3's 205/50/16 of £360 all in.
Just wondered if anyone has had any actual experience of this tyre. I know there are some of you out there who are less than enthusiastic for the old style Avon but has anyone actually used these ones? Given the recent postings concerning the rolly-polly characteristics of the Eagle F1’s I’m thinking they’re not all they’re cracked up to be.

I'd agree with what Ian is saying. They don't have a whole lot of grip, better than Michelins but not as good as S03's or Toyo's.
I didn't leave them on long enough to find out how well they wear, which says it all really

I had AVON ZZ3s on my 98MY - DONT BUY THEM !
For the same (actually slightly less) I had GSDs and their total grip level and consistency is better.
I.E. they don't just let go in the wet !!!
Not tried TOYO, so I can't compare - and, yes, the corners come off the GSDs, but I'm sure you can go slower if you want the tyres to last longer...
