Anyone bought direct from Hi-Spec? The 335 x 32mm Monster 6-pots caught my eye. What are they like?

I did try to buy direct, but if you are only buying one kit they don't seem to give a toss.

Unhappy

Chocky Monster,
When you say 'don't give a toss' do you mean Hi Spec wouldn't sell you a kit at all, or were they just dissapointed that you only wanted one kit?

have had a MONSTER4 335 kit from them for a while now and IMHO do NOT buy from them direct. they have MAJOR safety & customer relation issues - they should stick to what they do - make brakes!

they are a lovely looking set of brakes & although I've never been totally satisfied ( pedal has never felt right - better now - but not 100%) many others (from TSL) have been very please (although those are the 6pots).

if you like the look - buy from TSL as you will hopefully get better backup & fitment in the firstplace.

feel free to email off-line if you want all the juice!
Steve

Wink

Get them from TSL... and get a trade-in on the old ones. Might do to get them to fit them too ;-0

My TSL/HiSpec kit has been performing very well. Recently did Snetterton which has a whopper straight. Every lap the brakes were there without any hint of fade.

Monster by name & monster by nature.
