Question

I've just replaced my rear Potenzas with a pair of Avon ZZ3's (both 215 45 ZR 17) and now they scrape the top of the wheel arch on bumps and bends. (Must be slightly wider). Anyone know where I could go to get the wheel arch rolled back? Bristol/Swindon area. Normal accident repair centres charging a fortune and don't seem to have the "special tool" that makes it easy. Anyone done this themselves at home??

Have you tried gently tapping with a copper/hyde hammer?
I did this on my rally car & it worked ok, but not sure whether I fancy doing it on road car.

Thanks Dremel. Did the paint crack when you did that? I don't really understand how new tyres can make so much difference - were your new ones supposedly the same size too?
