Alloy Wheel Offsets
#1
Hi chaps and chappettes...
I have a slight problem and 1 of you lot may be able to help me out.
I have a 1993 Vauxhall Carlton GSI that has a set of 7j x 15 Alloys with 205/65 ZR 15 rubber on ...
now i need 4 tyres so i thought i would whack on some 17's ...trouble is the ones i fancy (off a mk2 vectra gsi) are a totally different offset...
mine are et33 the vecs are et49 (i think) and also they come with 215/45 zr17 rubber....
do any of ytou think theres any way i can get these on my car satisfactorily or am i just better gettin new tyres??
i have no idea what other effects this change will have on the old girl.... the fact that its a 17 incher is no problem cos i know fer a fact that 18's go on but its this particular style..opinions on a postcard to ******* bloody wheels hell
lol

Check this web site out, it lists all pcd's offsets etc for most cars.
If you click at the bottom of the page there is a tyre size calculator!
Pretty useful stuff!
