ME!

I've slightly scuffed one of my alloys after I made a decision to mount the kerb this morning - and after screwing up a manouever got me into the situation anyway!

Does anyone know of a good alloy wheel refurbisher in the South Bucks or East Berks area?

I did something similar to mine and used Alexanders bodyshop in Bourne End. The car was in for something else anyway and they offered to do it. Made a superb job of it - they mixed up some paint specially to match the unknown RB5 alloy colour. I guess it depends on how bad your damage is - in my case it was just a case of polishing out the scuff and respraying. I dont have the number to hand but can get it if you need it.

Steve,

TVM for the info.

It's a right b*gger this one.

1) It's a small 20-25mm 'pinch' sort of scuff on the edge of the outside of the bead. If it wasn't the scoob I'd laugh it off.
2) It's very close to the tyre.

I'll have to get it done in case the wheel starts getting leprous.

Would this be the Alexanders in Question?

yes that's the place. I'm very happy with their work. They are into Subarus aswell (there is nearly always at least one very smashed one in for repair!)
