4 wheel geometry + tyre wear

had new rubber put on ..the goodyear F1's ..hmm nice.
thought as the other tyres were wearing on the inside at the front i'd get it all set up properly.
took the car to andrew burt's and they did the geometry test...result it was spot on needed no adjustment and cost me just £14.50 for 45 mins labour. hmmm great.
but then i started to wonder is the subaru designed to wear tyres on the inside edges..."characteristic of that motor jon".
is it some sort of compromise of tyre wear v the great handling? will i need new tyres agin in 15000 miles!!
Any thoughts out there
