The profile you have is for an MY01> and the profile you need is a 35 series profile ie 215x35x18 or maybe 225x35x18
I have an 01 car so can't tell you for sure which of the two tyres you'd need above!! (My money would be on the 215x35x18's though)

Good luck

Nick

Yep 215/35s is meant to be better.

Im running 225/40/18s on the classic with p1 suspension and i get no rubbing with 5 people in the car.

Apparently there is a rubber strip just under the wheel arch - have you removed that? I heard something that by removing that it helps but im not 100%

I believe rubber strip MONEY referes to is only on UK cars, or maybe European imports too but not Jap. imorted cars as I do not have them Oh ! just to re-inforce tyre size 215/35R18 for classic to get simialr rolling radius.

I can confirm regards the rubber strips, they do only come on UK cars and not Japs, if you do have a jap import try and get some because after a few stone chips etc they will rust. Or I'm an extreme case.
