Its seen as a no no - most people have all 4 exactly the same size and brand. If your worried about the cost then order a set of 4 Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's (the most recommended tyre on scoobynet) for a paltry £230 inc vat and delivery from Crossroads.

its not the cost.

Im thinking of changing to F1s from PZero, but my fronts are almost new and the rears are almost illegal.

reasons - punctures etc mean my tyre wear is uneven from front to rear.

Seems a shame to waste the fronts.

Do what Im doing and take the F1 deal as it is excellent. £230 for tyres that usually cost £400. Then either sell your old tyres on the FOR SALE forum or keep in the garage for when/if you venture on track and dont want to waste your road set.

Simon.

Yep, sell the fronts. You should have no trouble getting towards £100 if they're almost new.
