there was a mention about a website re.brakes and the problems ie warping cracking etc.
do anyone tell me the url please thx

Interesting link where the author claims to have never seen a warped disc in twenty years of racing.

To which I would say, all but one of the illustrations show two-piece discs (with separate alloy bell, almost universally used in racing applications). And I agree, it is very hard to warp these and problems are likely to be related to pad deposits.

But that cracked disc, which looks like a one-piece disc, is that not warped? When mine did that, it was definitely warped - you could see it!

Also, I would question the definition of warping. If we say that a warped disc is one whose shape has been distorted by excessive heat, then he has certainly seen some warped discs!
