I am looking to fit 17" wheels to my 98 uk turbo and am looking for advice on the correct offset and tyre size. I do use the car as a family car and am wondering if i will have any rubbing problems when fully loaded. Thanks.

Generally go for an ET of 48 to 53 for 17's. In the tyre region most people go for the more common 215/40 or the more limited 205/45. Most OZ and Speedlines come in ET48 in 7x17 size to fit Subaru's.
