Brake Pads
#2
I have Pagid RS42 pads on mine, combined with Pagid grooved discs. Good improvement over standard (not sure what the improvement would be with pads alone). Cheaper than Subaru items. Got mine from Performance Braking in Monmouth who get a lot of good reports on here. Afraid I dont have the number to hand but will dig it out later as I need to order some rear pads anyway.

I'd personally go for Ferodo DS2500's, but the Pagids are a good alternative. Mintex too, but they tend to squeal too much for my liking.
If you do fit uprated pads, just watch they don't overheat your OEM discs. Personally, I'd always upgrade the discs and pads together.

Went for DS2500's which were far better than OEM pads. Used with standard discs and no problems over 15K miles.
May do the same with the new WRX, but would probably go for Prodrive grooved discs, so warranty will be okay.

warranty on brake discs?? think you'll find that these items aren't covered anyway..........
personal preference would be something like rs4.2.1 and Pagid grooved discs for fast road with different pad material for track/ hard road driving!!
alyn - as performance
