17" STI7 wheels on MY99??

Is it possible to fit the 17" wheels off the STI7 onto an MY99?
If it is what tyre size would i require? Would the origional tyre on the STI be ok to run on? i think the sizis 225/45/17 but could be mistaken. I only ask as i have been offerd the chance to buy some and are wondering if they will fit or would i have to buy new tyres.
