Whats a good brake upgrade?.
#1
On a bit of a tight budget at the moment, due to moving house etc but need to upgrade the brakes. Went on a run over exmoor with the scoobycity guys(yes its me dave11980 before anyone says this sounds familiar).
After a hour or so of reasonably hard driving i developed major brake fade and had a scary moment on a hairpin. Looking to uprgrade the discs rather than the whole brakes any good suggestions?.
The car is a 94wrx so not sure if its 2pots or 4pots anyone know?.
I know drilled discs are very good, got them on my mk2 golf and they made a hell of a difference.

wouldn't normally recomend "drilled" discs but you could do a lot worse than say a set of Pagid "grooved" discs and something like rs4.2.1 or rs 4.2........other pad options include Ferodo ds2500 include....depends really on the type of use/ driving style you have...
when you say major "fade" exactly what type of fade did you have?? are you sure its a material problem or is it a fluid issue??
feel free to mail for any advice,
