Question

Hello

Can you change the colour of alloys? and if so is it expensive?

For example - Say you bought a blue car with nice gold 17' rims on but wanted to change the colour to silver. Or you bought a white scooby and wanted to say change silver wheels to white for that all white look.

Is it possible? I haven't heard of it being done but can alloy referbishers do it?

Thanks Steve

A proper Alloy refurbisher can do this easily. They'll blast away the existing paint and repair any kerbing or dents in the alloy. Then they'll colour match any colour you want.

Price ranges, but average is £35 per wheel.

It's relatively straightforward if you know what you're doing.

If you have to ask then you don't It's definately not an easy DIY job.

I would have thought £50 per corner was nearer the mark, but you never know.....
