Cool

Wrong forum I know but I need info very quickly so can it please stay here for a while.

I have or thought I had OZ SuperTourismo gold wheels on my car but looking on the web I find that OZ SuperTourismo Wheels are 16 spoke! and the ones I have are only 15 spoke but I did find a site that had a match for my wheels that calls them OZ SuperTourismo s (Subaru) 7.0 x 17"

However I have 215/40/17 tyres on these wheels and they do not look like they are the wrong size so what is going on here.

I thought 7.0 = 205 and 7.5 = 215 and 8.0 = 225

Are these wheels specially made for the Impreza Turbo or what?

Also does anyone know what the max weight that these wheels support is as I need to find this out for the TÜV.

This is an urgent request so can someone please help.

can't answer you question specifically...BUT...

"I thought 7.0 = 205 and 7.5 = 215 and 8.0 = 225"

well, yes and no. you can generally fit a range of tyre sizes to a wheel, i.e. 175/60/13 could go on 4.5/5.0/5.5 etc depending on how far you are willing to "push" it as it where..

As mentioned above, tyres can fit over a range of wheel sizes, though the tyre manufacturers usually specify an "ideal" wheel width for each tyre.

It is true that OZ made a Superturismo specifically for the Impreza range in gold.

Cool

Thanks John but do you happen to know what the offset for this wheel and a part number or model number or any distinguishing marks on the wheel.

This really is important as I need to try and get this wheel approved by TÜV so I can add it to my paperwork.

Cheers
