I've noticed my front tyres on my MY02 (June) have worn a lot. I've done 13k miles and looking at the tyres they are generally wearing faster than the rears. But they are worn slick on the inside only. This is only on the inside 1/4 of the tyre (the Bridgestones have 4 radial groves), so its only the part of the tyre on the inside.
I see a lot of postings about wear on the inside of tyres and especially on the later models. Obviously I need to get the tracking looked at.
Should I just accept this as one of those things and get the tracking sorted myself or should I get the dealer to look at the tracking as part of the warranty, because it looks like it's a popular problem and not just due to my car.

13k on the front sounds pretty good to me if you don't rotate front to rear. I got 11.5k from my fronts (inside edges worn bald, but approx 3-4mm on remainder of tread). Same model as you MY02.
Evo had an MY01 on long term test a few years ago and thiers were bald on inside after 5k They reported this to dealer and had new tyres fitted. Miraculously the next set lasted over 10k and dealer said they didn't touch anything: press car

I've got the same problem - fronts completely fudged - and according to two dealers Bridgestone say there won't be any in the country for at least another month - effing sh#te! I stopped using Bridgestones on my bike 'cos they were always on 'back order' (what does that mean?). If they can not get their stock control right I ain't gonna use 'em. I've just ordered full set of TOYO's!!
