New Tyres / Costs

Been offered 3 new toyo 205/50/16's, fitted and balanced for £235.. Does anyone know where I can get a better deal than this?
I only need 3 as a recent insurance claim replaced the 4th.

www.mytyres.net Toyo's are £67.90 delivered, even allowing £7 each for valve and balance you'll be ahead, or if your smart, £10 total in the tea fund for the local kwik fit lads.......

oem's were bridgestone re010's I think. They were pants.
Set of proxies for me as soon as they were worn enough.

Cheers Steve,
I find the OEMs ok (dons flamesuit). They seem pretty good in the dry and wet and only really seem crap when in snow or on greasy / oily road - where no tyre is going to be any good. In what way are the proxies or F1s better than the OEM ones? I only ask as my local tyre fitter told me they are both budget and will wear out very quickly. Any opinions please as the tread is getting very thin....

Got proxies now - very pleased, good value for money.
Seen F1's perform, I'd say better than proxies in terms of grip and how long they last - for my 205, 50 16's they worked out about 40% more expensive though.
How do people rate Yoko's? I had some a while back, worked well, cheap ish - didn't last!

My brother used to work for a tyre depot and said Yoko's are sold as a budget tyre in Japan but not overseas, they might have good grip but no good if they wear out very quick.

OEM's were tramlining like buggery and not so hot in the wet ( that's what I found anyway ) - also £150 each retail, as I found when I managed to pick up a nail in one. Swapped for proxies at 12k ( outside edges rubbed out ) - done 9k on them with *much* better grip wet or dry and they appear to be lasting significantly better too.
Was looking at the F1 deal, but the chap didn't have any at the time - they had only just come out then, and I needed them within a week or so.
Evo did a big tyre test and the proxies came out 3rd ( I think ). They do for me anyway, and at 95 a corner delivered from mytyres and 30 quid to swap all 4 , they were a bit of a bargain imo.

I saw the Toyo's on Mytyres.net few weeks ago for £67.90, looked on monday as I now need two and they gone up to £80.60 each!!!
Today they don't even list them on the web site???
Wish I got them when I first saw them
I was after 215/40/17

Just bought a set of Toyo T1-s from Tyres Northampton for my MY01- 215/45/17s. Mark and the boys had 'em on within 30 minutes and charged me £379.
Haven't scrubbed them in yet but they feel much better than the old Potenzas even now!
Looked around at some GSD3s but they were about £50 more.

Cmon chaps - £200.00 for a set of F1s (yes 4) from Crossroads Garage delivered next day - advertised on this very site - i.e the shop.
I have just had mine fitted yesterday for £30.00
So £230.00 all in (205/50/16) for a fantastic tyre - seems like a bargain to me. Even thought of buying a second set for later.

Not sure...
I run standard 16" wheels, had Pirelli P6000 b4 and bought those when everywhere else was quoting £90.00 + per corner...thus an absolute bargain - the tyres look and perform superb...just waiting for wet conditions but in the dry seem spot on.
