hi all,

ok here goes, have just fitted p1 18"s to my 97 turbo and the tyres they came with were not the ideal size (ie they were 225/40/18"s instead of 215/35/18s) but as they were secondhand and a great price it was worth the inconvienience for a while. its okay cos they fit just fine, and when it comes to it, ill change them for the right size, but heres the thing: according to my calcualtions the speedo will now under read by 5% (checked against a tire calculator thing) which means that ill be doing 63 when the speedo shows 60, which again is fine (hang on im getting there, its not easy) BUT, how will this affect my milometer? i have to record my mileage for work so i need to get it right.... am i correct in assuming that when the mileometer shows ive travelled 60 miles now ive actually travelled 63 miles in corellation with the speedo? can think about it anymore, its making me head hurt..

suggestions anyone?

thanks,
B.
