Jimmy, go to the AP website, and read the details on there. They give a very good list of things to do.

the AP destructions only apply to their race dscs and pads.............no use at all if you've got replacement type kit!!
each manufacturer has their own guidelines, although some are similiar - make sure you follow the particular directions for your product and you'll get much improved response and life!!
