F, mate. You can take this stealth business too far Get some big ba5tards under 17s.
I've heard they have a rule at the 'Ring - 16in wheels not allowed unless you're name is *****
Richard.

Look Richybabe, apparently they can cram a 223mm disc with 6 pots under 16's. I know I can't quite believe it myself so I've got to verify it.
And anyway, 16inch is considered to be the optimum dia for wheels by Prodrive, so there! Everyone else with 17/18's are just fashion victims with more money than driving skill

by my measurements the wilwood kit doesn't fit under the factory 16" rims, compomotive motorsport ones maybe an option though.
I think I measured the ID of the 99-00 rim at 343mm, and from memory the willwood kit specs a caliper radius of 173.9mm on the SL6 with 323mm discs.
Would be nice if it fitted though.
Now where's that Dremel?

Floyd m8, word of caution about the Wilwood calipers, check that they are road compatible (ie have dust seals) first!
As an alternative how about talking to Hi-Spec or KAD? They make 4 and 6 pot kits for the Scoob to suit various different wheel sizes.
I got Hi-Spec to make me a set of replacement bells and supply 300mm dia x 28 thick disks for my Brembos, which all fit very nicely under the standard 16's.

Hi-spec have had their own problems with calipers.
Wilwoods don't have dust seals, but how that affects you is down to how you choose to maintain your car or not.
I did have a plan to use Hi-spec sealed calipers and wilwood discs and bells. Although hi-spec now do curved vane discs (from perfomance friction i think) they are rather expensive.

Paul, from memory Hi-spec's curved vane disks are still less expensive than AP disks... I think that the smallest size that they're available in is 320mm dia 32mm thick...which means hybridising the calipers and only being able to run 17's for me limiting my choice of slicks

Thanks guys for the info.
I had a mail from Rallydesign this afternoon so I take back what I said earlier. They still believe that they should fit most 16 inch wheels but I nee to accurately measure the ID and let them know so that they can confirm fitment.
They also say that the SL6 has dust seals although I've had a report from a competitor that they fall out and that they aren't as good as Hi Spec!
I'm so confused now.

Foot_tapper,
I'm aware of the Wilwood Midilite caliper with seals, it;s just rather small, with smaller pads etc. It does however sare some pistons sizes with the larger calipers (like the superlight series) so it may be possible to get spares and use them in the larger caliper.
